My core is stronger, my hips are slimming down and my arms are tightening up all thanks to Push Pilates. The reformers are fun and the low impact is easy on my "old" knees. I enjoy the variety offered by each if your four instructors. Thank you for adding a cardio trampoline class on Monday nights. I love your studio and I'm so glad I decided to try it out. I'm totally hooked!
I have had my eye on the Pilates Method for about 2 years now and I finally decided to take the plunge. I am 43 years old and have suffered with chronic back pain and lack of flexibility in my hamstrings and back for about 16 years. I cannot believe the flexibility that I have in my legs and back now. I am now able to sit on the floor with my legs stretched out straight in front of me without my legs going numb and my tailbone getting sore. I was able to hold my back upright with little effort at all. Usually I would have to place both hands behind myself to actually prop myself up. I have also lost 15 pounds since I started! The technique and pace at which Pilates lets you advance is so personal and easy that I started to feel improvement within the first two months. I feel so much stronger and stable in upper body and my energy levels have continued to rise. All of this just confirms to me that I have made the right decision to incorporate this into my exercise regime. Lisa and Heidi at Push Pilates are the absolute best instructors and I could not think of anyone else I’d rather have guiding me through this new part of my life!
I have been an unlimited member at Push Pilates since September 2011. I love going to Push Pilates because it makes it so convenient to go when I want because they offer morning, noon, and evening classes. I started as a beginner and I am now taking level 2 classes. I go anywhere from 3-5 times a week. I am much stronger in my arms and core. Also, the shape my legs and butt have changed.
All the instructors are very experienced and informative. I recently took 2 Privates, one with Amy and one with Mychelle. They both had me on the Cadillac Trapeze table which is much different workout than the reformer. They were both great! Also, they both challenged me in a good way!! I really enjoyed both of my workouts and being PUSHed!!
